Tuesday: Monthly PBES/TPES PTA Meeting
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 7 pm on Zoom for the monthly meeting. The topics will include information on the Gifted and Talented (G.T.) Screening process, the Center for Enriched Studies (CES) and magnet programs.
Panther Appeal Has Begun
The PBES PTA asks you to consider donating to our annual fundraiser, the Panther Appeal! Now through December 6 the PTA will be raising money to continue funding PTA programs such as STEAM Night, literacy support, staff and teacher appreciation, the Garden Club, the Rainbow Club, Cultural Heritage Night, lifeguards for P.E. swim lessons, equity programming and more.
The goal is to match last year’s Panther Appeal and raise $10,000. Every contribution has an impact – a $5 donation can supply the health room with water bottles for a week – so please help us reach our goal!

Coming Soon: 2024 Winterfest
The PTA will host a “Winterfest” holiday market and celebration at the VFW (6420 Orchard Ave., TKPK) to thank all our Piney Branch families and friends for your continued support. It will be held on December 6 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm, and will include food and beverages, kids’ activities, a gift market featuring local artisans, and live music. This is a public event so make sure to invite your friends & neighbors!

Volunteers Needed to Coordinate PBES Soccer Fundraiser
This spring the PTA hopes to hold another soccer game fundraising event to bring together our school community and raise money for the various programs that the PTA supports. If you are interested in helping to make this happen, please reach out to Sara Lewis (serowe@gmail.com).
