When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved! Your help is needed to ensure each of our students has an invaluable experience this school year!

Anyone can volunteer, you do not have to be PTA member or have volunteer experience. There are many kinds of time commitments available and any amount benefits our students!

READY TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE SCHOOL?

MCPS requires individuals who regularly volunteer for the school (including field trip chaperones) to complete an online training on Child Abuse and Neglect. The training takes about 30 minutes and is offered in several languages. To begin the training follow this link and scroll down to the Online Training for Volunteers/Contractors section.

Once you have completed your training, you will receive an email confirmation. Forward the email to the Administrative Secretary, Ms. Welch at Victoria_M_Welch@mcpsmd.org, or print a copy of the confirmation and send it to the office. The school has a database of all trained volunteers.
